In order to fully carry out the evaluation and inspection work of UNESCO, on the morning of May 10th, a special training session on the basic work of applying for the creation of the Kanbula Global Geopark was held at the Party School of Tongren City. The Organization Department of the Tongren Municipal Party Committee, various departments of the Tongren Municipal Government, the Tongren Municipal Political Consultative Conference, the Tongren Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, the Tongren Disabled Persons' Federation, the Tongren Women's Federation, as well as the party committee secretaries of various townships and village party branch secretaries in Longwu Town, Baoan Town, Duowa Town, Nianduhu Township, Qukuhu Township, Guashize Township, Huangnaihai Township, etc., participated in this training.

This training focused on the work of the declaration and creation, assessment and inspection of global geoparks. The participants said that this training is very timely, which is an important measure for Tongren City to fully promote the establishment of the work, strengthen the awareness of the participants' assessment and inspection work, clarify the specific goals of the next work, and play a decisive role in the promotion of the assessment and inspection work.
