On April 19th, all members of the Cultural Tourism Advisory Volunteer Service Team of the Chinese Cultural Station in the New Era of Kanbula Town and some cadres of Niutan Community and Ojiatai Community participated in the Kanbula Geopark science popularization training at the Kanbula Scenic Area Management Committee.

The staff of the Kanbula Scenic Area Management Committee distributed handbook such as “Should Be Informed of the Global Geopark” and the community version of “Popular Science Reading”, and invited lecturers to conduct popular science training, and the lecturers explained the geological heritage value and cultural heritage characteristics of Kanbula Geopark in simple terms with the theme of "Celebrating Earth Heritage, Sustaining local Communities". Finally, the leaders of the Kanbula Scenic Area Management Committee made a summary from the aspects of the correct positioning of volunteers, team building, and improvement of service efficiency.

Through the training, everyone gained a new understanding of the Kanbula Geopark and improved their knowledge and literacy. The Cultural Tourism Advisory Volunteer Service Team will take this training as a new starting point to continuously expand the volunteer team in future practice, further improve service efficiency, and promote the development of the establishment of Kanbula Global Geopark.
