On 8 December, the 6th UNESCO International Training Course on the Management and Development of Global Geoparks was held in Yimengshan Global Geopark. The training course was jointly organized by China University of Geosciences (Beijing), Linyi Yimengshan Global Geopark Administration and National Geopark Network Center Office of the Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences. The main members of the working group of the application for the establishment of a global geopark in Kanbula Scenic Area of Huangnan Prefecture, the Administrative Committee of Kanbula Scenic Area of Huangnan Prefecture, Qinghai Xingren Cultural Tourism Development Co., Ltd., the declaration service unit, the Zhangye Global Geopark and Gansu Geological Survey Bureau Water Exploration Institute 18 people participated in the training.

Through this training, the trainees of our province will further understand the overall goal of the management and development of the Global Geopark, the basic requirements, key tasks and methods and steps for the declaration and creation of the Global Geopark, further recognize the weak links and breakthrough directions of the application and creation of the Kanbula Scenic Area, and further enhance the confidence and determination to do a good job in the declaration and creation of the Global Geopark.
