It is one of the four fortresses of the Baoan ancient fort complex and a national key cultural relics protection unit. It is one of the earliest ancient fortresses in Tongren area and the most complete one in China. It was built in 1333.The ancient castle is 200 meters long in east and west, 180 meters wide in north and south, covering an area of 36,000 square meters, the wall is rammed by loess, surrounding the wall base is 4 meters wide, the highest point of the residual wall is about 10 meters, more than 100 families are still living in it.
