On April 23, Suonandajie and Chen Yunzhang, deputy directors of the Kanbula Geopark Management Committee, Han Weilin, Minister of Planning, and Professor Tian Mingzhong, doctoral supervisor of China University of Geosciences (Beijing) and senior evaluation expert of world geoparks, and Kainuo of Beijing Geopark Professor Sun Hongyan, project leader of Science and Technology Co., Ltd., as well as Wang Xinning and Cai Ruifeng of Qinghai Xingren Cultural Tourism Development Co., Ltd., held a meeting in Xining to promote the follow-up technical services for the establishment of the Kanbula Geopark as a world geopark.This meeting carefully analyzed the current progress of the creation of a global geopark in Kanbula Geopark and evaluated the completed work.

The meeting emphasized that follow-up technical service work will be carried out and promoted in an orderly manner, focusing on issues reported back by the National Forestry and Grassland Administration and the guidance of experts from the UNESCO Global Geopark Council.At the same time, the meeting proposed eight rectification and improvement tasks for subsequent technical service work, and determined the work priorities, various work tasks and division of labor.

The meeting required that each task should be refined and implemented by each person, benchmarked against the table, strive for excellence, seize the time for rectification and improvement, and do a solid job in all work.To ensure that qualified rectification and improvement progress reports are submitted in a timely manner in accordance with the requirements of the National Forestry and Grassland Administration and the UNESCO Global Geopark Council.
