Magma from deep underground erupts to the surface along certain channels, and the geological bodies formed by this accumulation are called volcanoes. Depending on the activity of the volcano, they can be classified as Volcanic Active, Extinct, and Dormant.
Volcanic Active refers to a volcano that is erupting and is expected to erupt again.
An extinct volcano is a volcano that has no active manifestation, although it has preserved its volcanic form and eruptive material.
A dormant volcano is a volcano that has not erupted for a long time but will do so in the future.
