On World Environment Day in 2023, to further strengthen the publicity and education of ecological environment protection, the Huangnan Prefecture Ecological Environment Bureau organized more than 40 prefecture level agencies and relevant units in Tongren City on the morning of June 5th to carry out a publicity activity with the theme of "Building a Modern Harmonious Coexistence between Humans and Nature" at Rebgong Square.

At the site, various promotional methods such as hanging promotional banners, displaying exhibition boards, setting up regulatory consultations, and environmental publicity are used to carry out environmental protection regulatory consultations and distribute promotional materials to the public, guiding them to further enhance their sense of mission and responsibility in protecting the ecological environment, and contributing to promoting green development and building a modern harmonious coexistence between humans and nature.

According to statistics, more than 8000 promotional materials, including “The Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Solid Waste Pollution in the Environment”, “The Yellow River Protection Law of the People's Republic of China”, “The Soil Pollution Prevention and Control Law”, “The High Quality Development of the Yellow River Basin in Huangnan Prefecture”, “The Creation of a Whole Area Waste Free City”, “The Promotion of Green Development and the Harmonious Coexistence of Man and Nature”, “The Common Sense of Air Pollution Prevention and Control”, and “The Garbage Classification”, were distributed at the event site, with 500 environmental protection promotional bags, 2000 other promotional materials.
