On the evening of July 18, 2019, with the gradual onset of drizzle and darkness, more and more spectators from all over the country gathered together under umbrellas and raincoats at the "Rebgong Culture Square" in Tongren County, Huangnan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, which could accommodate 10000 people. The first Qinghai Rebgong Culture and Tourism Festival of 2019, hosted by the Qinghai Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and the Huangnan Prefecture People's Government, opened grandly. 

Relevant leaders from Qinghai Province, as well as guests and leaders from Tianjin City, Aba Prefecture in Sichuan Province, Gannan Prefecture in Gansu Province, and various cities and states in Qinghai Province, attended the opening ceremony.

The first Qinghai Rebgong Cultural Tourism Festival is held with the aim of further inheriting, promoting, and showcasing the excellent ethnic culture of Huangnan, expanding and enhancing the visibility and reputation of "China's most influential cultural tourism destination", and comprehensively assisting in the construction of the "Demonstration Zone for the Integrated Development of Cultural Tourism in the Province".

The second Amdo Tibetan Folk Song Competition and the Provincial Layi Competition have come to an end in Kanbula.
