Longnahe Calderas
date: 2023-05-18 views:

The caldera is at an elevation of 3,235 meters, with a central depression landform and a double-wheeled crater outwards.  The eruption covered a total area of about 60 square kilometers.  The diorite porphyry intruding along annular fractures constitutes the inner ring crater, and the center is the pot depression, surrounded by the circular distribution of springs and water systems, which has become a natural grassland now.  The high craters on the outside are composed of andesite lava and a small amount of volcanic breccia.  The caldera has experienced at least two eruptions and two collapses, the collapses has occurred along annular faults.
